Our Story
ChainSeeker was born out of a simple frustration: finding reliable, comprehensive disc golf information shouldn't be this hard.
We're a group of friends who love disc golf. We play leagues, argue about disc selections, drive hours for tournaments, and spend way too much time researching our next purchase. We built ChainSeeker because we wanted a single place to search, compare, and discover discs — and we figured other people did too.
What started as a side project has grown into something we're genuinely proud of. Every feature on this site exists because we wanted it ourselves, or because someone in the community asked for it.
What We're About
Research, not retail. ChainSeeker is a disc golf research platform first. We help you find the right disc for your game with honest flight data, real comparisons, and community-sourced bag builds. Yes, we have affiliate links — that's how we keep the lights on — but our recommendations are never influenced by who pays us more.
Community hub. Disc golf is better together. Our forums, bag sharing, pro tour coverage, and fantasy leagues are all designed to bring the community closer. Whether you're a beginner figuring out your first putter or a seasoned player tracking the DGPT, there's a place for you here.
Growing the sport. We believe disc golf is for everyone. That means making information accessible, welcoming new players, and celebrating the culture that makes this sport special — the post-round beers, the ace runs, the friendly rivalry on league night.
Our Values
- Accessibility — Disc golf information should be free and easy to find. We'll never lock core features behind a paywall.
- Community — The best ideas come from the people who play. Your feedback shapes what we build next.
- Transparency — We're players too. When we earn commissions from affiliate links, we disclose it. When we make mistakes, we fix them.
- Quality — We'd rather do a few things well than many things poorly. Every disc in our database is verified, every feature is tested by actual players.
