1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ChainSeeker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ChainSeeker is a disc golf disc research platform that provides disc data, flight numbers, pricing information, community features, and affiliate links to disc retailers. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- One account per person — duplicate accounts may be removed
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create (forum posts, bag setups, comments). By posting content, you grant ChainSeeker a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute that content on the platform.
You agree not to post content that:
- Is illegal, abusive, harassing, or threatening
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains spam, malware, or phishing links
- Impersonates another person or entity
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them.
5. Disc Data & Pricing
Disc data (flight numbers, specifications) is sourced from the DiscIt API and PDGA. Pricing information is scraped from third-party retailers and may not reflect current prices. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any data displayed on the platform.
ChainSeeker is not a retailer. All purchases are made through third-party retailers via affiliate links. We are not responsible for transactions with those retailers.
6. Affiliate Links
ChainSeeker earns commissions from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links. This does not affect the price you pay. We clearly disclose our affiliate relationships.
7. Donations & Purchases
Donations made through the Support page are voluntary and non-refundable. Merchandise purchases are fulfilled by Printful. Refund and return policies for merchandise are governed by Printful's policies.
8. Intellectual Property
The ChainSeeker name, DiscSquatch logo, and original site design are the property of ChainSeeker. Disc names, manufacturer names, and product images are the property of their respective owners.
9. Limitation of Liability
ChainSeeker is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to inaccurate disc data, pricing errors, or third-party retailer issues.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
