Joshua Battazzi competes in the Men’s Professional Open division, currently holding a PDGA rating of 954. As an emerging figure in competitive disc golf, Battazzi has yet to secure a professional win or podium finish in major tournaments. His competitive history remains limited, with no recorded top-five or top-ten finishes in recent events.
In the 2026 season, Battazzi has participated in one event, finishing 20th at the USDGC Championship Week Monday Qualifying. This result places him in the middle tier of a highly competitive field, indicating room for growth as he gains experience at the professional level. While his current record shows zero podiums or majors, Battazzi’s presence in qualifying rounds for significant events like the USDGC suggests he is actively building his competitive portfolio.
Battazzi plays with a solid, consistent approach suited for his mid-level rating. He focuses on reliable shot placement rather than extreme distance, utilizing stable midrange discs for controlled approaches. His game emphasizes course management and minimizing errors, which helps him navigate challenging layouts. Battazzi is still refining his power shots, particularly on longer par-5s, but shows promise in his ability to stay within scoring position through careful club selection and steady putting.
